The title of this Web site is taken from the following Scripture:
1Co 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
The purpose of this site is to provide Bible-based information that elaborates on and provides explanations of different Bible verses which will seem right or wrong to the reader based on the “foundation” from which they are starting.
The Bible is a very widely distributed book which is read by many individuals. Differences of understanding and interpretation of the Bible abound as do the different religious groups who base their doctrines and teachings on the Bible.
It is fully expected, the information provided on this site will not meet with the approval or acceptance of those who are starting off from a different foundation of beliefs. It is anticipated that not everyone, in fact, that almost everyone chancing upon this site will disagree with the information posted.
The information provided is for those with whom the writer has a shared foundation.
The only way for you to know whether your foundational beliefs are compatible with the information provided is to read some of the postings on this site and decide for yourself whether you agree or disagree with them.
If you find yourself agreeing, then you and I have a shared foundation; if not, though we both have a foundation, they are not the same.
No problem, this is as it should be given the very great variety of individuals and personal training. It is understood and expected that this is what will occur and there is no harm done.
